Using guitar pedals on vocals during mixdown

Using guitar pedals on vocals during mixdown
The BIG surprise for me was how much I preferred the 58 with grill over the others - just a nastier more exciting sound. I've used my 57s and a 58 for vocals and this just doesn't align with my experience of how the 58 should sound. I've always found it darker and less, not more edgy
I think the 58 is has a lot more bite
Hi Budda, Great tones with this wonderfull Telecaster ** * As always Top video and Mojo! I hope you are well n' happy. See u soon from north Spain W.
Thanks a lot my friend
i have a 73 Marshall Super bass 100 with a 4x12 H12 cab. It peels the paint off the wall....
Here you use 6L6s. Would it make huge différencies with EL84s or EL34s?
It would be different for shire, specially the EL84
Great demo! If you had to choose this or Hudson broadcast dual, which would it be?
They are different. The benson has more eq possibilities but the broadcast has two footswitchable gain settings. I would go for the broadcast because of the two gains.
Congratulations for the new Guitar Budda. I’m completely confident that it sounds as good as it looks. Love the specs, it’s like you have an overdrive, an EQ, a tremolo and a kind of delay (with the out of phase option) in the tip of your finger’s, love it so many options. Joao beyond being a really nice person, it’s an amazing luttier and I love his work, it’s all so authentic and truthful. I have the privilege of owning a Roidz and I can’t get enough of my guitar. Cheers Budda.
Thanks Tiago
Nice
👌
Thank you for playing through the original uni vibe and demonstrating the uni vibe with the flower on it Who makes that one?
Jam pedals makes the one with the flower
It is very important to specify what style of music you play to know exactly what amplifier you should purchase.
It’s a good indicative
thats a mighty fine guitar !
👌
Boa. Depois manda imagens da tua Roodz
@@BuddaGuedes Combinado!
Wonderful sounds! Reminds me of the first guitar I ever built, a custom fully hollow tele with f-hole, and two tv jones filtertrons. Filtertrons sound so good on teles. I really like your combination of the filtertron in the neck and traditional tele bridge pickup.
Thanks a lot
Man, your reviews are among the best we can find. You give me inspiration. You seem a great guy full of passion for guitars and sound. Great pleasure seeing your videos. Thank you for your work, hands down!!
Thanks a lot for your kind words
I finally start to understand how to tweak amps, as I'm mainly a trumpet payer (classic and jazz) but I'm in love with guitar, blues and r'n'r. Again, thanks A LOT for it is some work you're doing, and some knowledge and tips you're giving us. Would be a pleasure to meet and jam with you
Saw a Vox Phantom mini guitar the other day and I think I’m going to pick it up it was so cool looking!
👌
Great review as ever Budda. I'm a little wary of Germanium transistors, they are just not so predictable as Silicon that's why the technology is (nearly) extinct - but when they are working well yes you get those great '60s sounds
That’s true!!
There was a Fender Bass vi
Robert Cray played two Matchless Clubman with 4x10 cabinets
Great!👍🏻
Hello Budda, keep making good videos, you're on the right track. I love your opinion. So I question between the following tremolo pedals, which one do you suggest: Walrus Audio Monument V2 and the JAM pedals Harmonious Monk (MK 1 or 2)? PT - Olá Guedes, continua a fazer bons vídeos, estás no bom caminho. Adoro a tua opinião. Desta forma questiono entre os seguintes pedais de tremolo qual sugeres: Walrus Audio Monument V2 e o JAM pedals Harmonious Monk ( MK 1 ou 2)?
Jam Pedals Harmonious Monk mk2
335 straight into pro jr crank both knobs to 10, neck pickup and GO! Blues machine!
It’s cool but very loud
There are a few Boss pedals that are hard to slag; the Trem is definitely one of these.Their attempts at Fender emulations represent a specific era of technology, and though certainly recognizable, they are seriously flawed.Having said that, they are also good fun; the Reverb,Trem, Vibrato and a BD2? Should provide many hours of territory to explore. Strymon pedals in general were engineered to be " musical", from the ground up, and there lies their single weakness. It's a challenge to get them to sound truly ugly.
🙏🙏
É isso! Repetir até a maldita música entranhar no seu cérebro hehehe valeu Budda! Abraço do Brasil 🇧🇷
😂😂😂
Budda, video muito legal com as lendas Marshall. Obrigado e grande abraço do Brasil 🇧🇷
Grande abraço
Your description on the two is spot on. In a 2x12 cab many would mix those two speakers. For a 1x12 Vox tone the Blue is perfect imo. Great demo !
Thanks a lot
Great episode!...Matchelss Laurel Canyon vs Toneking Falcon Grande for smaller gigs and practice?
That would be a great episode
Que guapa la edición 👌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Gracias
You are seriously a great player bro. Your style is so musical and soulful. It's pleasing to the ear. lol. Thanks for all you do man.
Thanks a lot.
One of my all time favorite amps and I've had a ton of them. One of the best clean channels at any price, not sure why you'd need to spend thousands more on a boutique amp. Great review, thanks!
👌
Thats a reissue. Way brighter than the original. I had both didn't mind the reissue but one can hear the transistors at play in the circuit. Obrigado. 👌
🤘🏻🤘🏻
Sorry, but $800 for these? They've *got* to be kidding, right? That's just plain stupid. Stu. Pid. This is why I have no problem with Chinese clones selling for bargain basement prices. Companies like Marshall can frankly suck a dick for charging as much as they do.
Gotta love the Budda amp in the background 👍
Eh! Eh! It’s a great one indeed
Gorgeus sound! 😜
Thanks
I really liked the sound of the matchless amp, without the pedal though
It’s an incredible amp
There’s also germanium phono preamps that are killer. Budda is the man.
I guess they will
👍🏿🤘
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Isso mesmo Budda, Germanium tem sempre um som tao doce
🙏
À crasy vidéo marvellous
🙏🙏🙏
can't believe they discontinued the phase 99 for that weak 95
I love the 95
The G12H30 Anni has got a nice slightly nasal twang to it . The G12H30 is more Jimmy Page and the M Creamback is more Paul Kossof .
👌👌
Can't wait for mine to arrive.
It’s a beast
Zvex Wooley Mammoth, originally designed as a bass fuzz, has been used by several known players in this role. The Mastotron was made as a guitar equivalent, but because it has more controls, it loses some of the harmonics and brutality. This is why it's common to keep these circuits as simple as possible, as every time you add a switch or pot, you lose something which needs to be again compensated for. Zvex are one of the builders that opened all the doors; when you're shopping for fuzz, it's always better to go with the specialists, - Basic Audio, Skinpimp, Jext Telez , Reuss, Fredric,- all in.
You should be ashamed of yourself promoting a fake amp (it doesn't deserve to be called a clone) with Dumble's name on it.
As Steve King noted ," Fun is fun, but done is done". The Flint is a good comprimise of the real thing, and as suggested, sometimes live mixes and application are different, but the Surfy pedals inspire like the real things. My first " effect" experience was with built in Fender and Magnatone trems and verbs; to some extent, it was actually those tube amps that kept me playing and engaged. I switched out to Surfy a few years ago, and the only piece of the picture I haven't tried yet is the Blossom Point(Brownfacer). I'm curious to see how it gets on with the Hudson Broadcast, especially running after. I'm wondering if it would be the subtle twist that would blend it all together? Great job as usual.Of all the British and American creators, there's no equivalent of this channel.
Thanks a lot for your comeback and kind words. Surfy Industries are killer. Every pedal is magic
Nice playing
Thanks
excellent Budda!!!
Thabsk
Melhor vídeo do youtube comparando esses dois pedais! Esse DD3 possui o famoso long chip? Abraço do Brasil! 🇧🇷
Obrigado
AC15 sounds great, but the AC30 IS a lot bolder, it seems to push a ton more than the AC15. But tone wise, they are very similar....plus, hard to beat two speakers...
Totally agree with you
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
🙏🙏
I prefer the Jensen.
Thanks
Thank you Dr.!
Glad you liked it
